Newly constructed in 2005, Heron Cove was designed for gracious living. A large comfortable country kitchen opens onto a fully screened in porch providing easy indoor/outdoor living in summertime ocean breezes.
Delight in the large library or the spacious sun room for a quiet retreat. The “Great Room,” overlooking the Northumberland Strait, is ideal for family projects and relaxation. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and even a cozy nook for that unexpected guest.
Point Prim is a perfect location for sunbathing and kayaking. At high tide the water is surprisingly warm for swimming and at low tide you can walk along the shore for miles while beach-combing, claming and birdwatching. Sunrise and sunset can be enjoyed from our beach. Bring your camera!
You are ideally located for day-trips to the most popular areas of interest on the island and just 25 minutes from the provincial capital Charlottetown, where you will enjoy fine dining, great theatre, and super nightlife.
During the summer, the house is a luxurious retreat for island visitors. During early spring and autumn, Heron Cove hosts Fine Art Workshops, specializing in fiber arts, paper-making, bookbinding and photography.
